This is the Community Portal of the wiki on Atmospheric Dispersion Modelling.

Please follow the Rules of conduct when you add contents to any part of this Wiki.

If you add something new to the wiki - possibly in some obscure branch deep below the top page - you may advertise it here on this Portal.

This Portal page - and especially its associated discussion page (use the tab on the top) - can be used to discuss ideas about the Wiki, as well as technical questions. Thus, a tech question concerning math equations has been posted on the discussion page January 6, 2006.

From time to time this page will be tidied, and out-of-date content removed.

What's new?

In November/December 2005 the entire wiki has become established. The initial structure has been created by the founder of the Wiki (Helge Rørdam Olesen of the National Environmental Research Institute, Denmark). There has been no publicity concerning the site until the end of December 2005. In the beginning of January 2006 its existence was announced in the Atmospheric Dispersion e-mail discussion list. Further announcements will take place during the month of March 2006.

Milton Beychok has contributed with several articles: Dispersion Modelling Conversions and Formulas, Accidental Release Source Terms and Compilation of U.S. EPA Models.

Logon not required, but...
