Note that for internal communication within the COST group, a private discussion group was established in January 2008: http://groups.google.com/group/cost732?hl=en

The current page provides information about COST 732 (which you may also find elsewhere), but in particular it allows an open pooling of experiences between COST participants and non-participants, also after the action finishes in spring 2009.

COST 732 material

COST 732 Action - Quality Assurance and Improvement of Micro-Scale Meteorological Models.

  • Within the COST 732 action, a comprehensive modelling exercise has taken place. More than a dozen different research groups have modelled the MUST (Mock Urban Setting Test) experiment. See the section below on the MUST exercise.

The MUST exercise

Within the COST 732 action, a comprehensive modelling exercise has taken place. More than a dozen different research groups have modelled the MUST (Mock Urban Setting Test) experiment. Three Excel workbooks are available, where various information from modelling of the MUST experiment is collected, including modelling results and graphs. There is an introduction to these workbooks at the web site http://www.dmu.dk/en/air/models/background/must/. The workbooks exist in two versions: One which is publicly available, while the other version is available only for COST 732 participants. The latter contains more model results.
